71. KABIR SAHAB'S
REFERENCE TO THE SUPREME NAME RADHASOAMI
108.
We have already said that Kabir Sahab has made a reference to the august holy
name mentioned above in one of Holy verses.
The
verse which contains this reference is :-
dchj /kkjk vxe dh lrxq# nbZ y[kk;A
myV rkfg lqfeju djh Lokeh lax feyk;AA
The
English version of the couple we have quoted is as follows :-
Kabir
saith, 'The true spiritual guide has shown the current of the Inaccessible,
transpose it, affix it to Soami, and
then go on repeating the word so formed'.
109.
The term 'transpose' means that the two letter-sounds 'dha' and 'ra' which
constitute the word 'dhara' (current)
should be interchanged, that is to say, the expression 'dhara' should be converted into 'Radha' and then affixed to the expression 'Soami' and the two expressions so combined, viz, 'Radhasoami'
should be repeated.

ReplyDeleteDHARA IS REVERSE OF RADHA (SPRIT)
ReplyDeleteIn my views as abbreviations of Radhasoami is R.S. for writing purpose but for internal repetition as mantra Ram is the abbreviations of Radhasoami. Sant Kabir used to practice Ram as His Guru Mantra.
ReplyDeleteSir...I didn't get it. Should we repeat RAM for RADHASOAMI?
DeletePlease explain the sentence "but for internal repetition as mantra Ram is the abbreviations of Radhasoami"...
Dear Ravi it's a very difficult question to respond. As far as Sant Kabir is concerned He was the disciple of Ramanand and Ram was His Guru Mantra. Kabir Sahab used to say "Dashrath sut tinhu lok bakhana, Ram nam ka marm na jana" (Ram is known in the entire universe as the son of king Dashrath but nobody knows the secret of this name).
DeleteNow the question is what is the secret of this name 'Ram' which only Sant Kabir knew? Perhaps Ram is the abbreviations of Radhasoami, this may be the only probable secret of this name 'Ram'.
You may try but I am not authorized to recommend this to anyone.
Thank you very much for your very interesting question. Radhasoami
